In Australia our laboratory is NATA Accredited. NATA is Australia's only nationally and internationally recognised provider of laboratory accreditation. Established over 50 years ago, NATA is also the world's largest association of accredited laboratories. NATA accredits laboratories against criteria based on the internationally recognised ISO Guide 17025.

Specific technical evaluation, combined with NATA's international recognition by its overseas counterparts, enables laboratories accredited by NATA to be recognised world-wide.

The Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry have inspected and registered Leeder Consulting as an Approved Quarantine Laboratory which enables us to receive and analyse samples from outside Australia.

Leeder Consulting are appointed Approved Analysts under MARPOL 73/78, the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships.

The approval is made by AMSA, (The Australian Maritime Safety Authority) as part of the National Plan to Combat Pollution of the Sea by Oil and Other Noxious and Hazardous Substances and is under the Protection of the Sea (Prevention of Pollution from Ships) Act 1983.

Leeder Consulting’s Senior Staff are “approved analysts” under the Victorian Environmental Protection Act, the South Australian Environmental Protection Act, the North Territory Environmental Protection Act, the Queensland Environmental Protection Act, the South Australian Department of Transport, and the Queensland Department of Transport.
